Meet our Education Facilitators

Laura Fries
Education Facilitator, Tutor
Hello! My name is Laura and I love what I do! I graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in English and a minor in Education. I was a classroom teacher for 30 years. As the lead Educational Facilitator with A1A, I get to enjoy 1:1 time with my students and have flexibility in how we use our time. My strongest areas are Literature and Writing and I am thrilled when I have the opportunity to work these in an individualized curriculum with my students. I live in San Marco, Florida, near my daughter, a professional photographer. Things that make me happy, besides my job, are my daughter, my siblings, my friends, reading, cooking, traveling, walking, and the beach!

I’m a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino and work as both an elementary classroom teacher and an Education Facilitator with A1A. I love helping students feel confident, curious, and excited about learning. When I’m not teaching, I’m a full-time wrestling mom to three boys. In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, and traveling.
